These 2 sister Husky puppies were abandoned from their family. They were originally purchased in Texas, but used to live in New Jersey! Apparently the family that bought them, wanted to use them as guard dogs. Therefore they left the Husky Puppies outside all the time! Because of that, the puppies got sick, and were exposed to the worst elements! They got sick, the cold, and very scared of other people!
Luckily their neighbors saw these Husky Puppies, saw the awful conditions in which these poor creatures were living in, and decided to call A Pathway to Hope. They hoped that the rescuers would be able to take these creatures, and take proper care of them!
The poor creatures were treated very bad from their “home.” They also had a contagious disease to other dogs called sarcoptic mange. Their immune system was damaged, and they were scared from people!
In order for the sisters to recover from all the trauma they experienced with their so-called “family”; they needed someone to take serious care of them. Someone that would provide a warm shelter, food, and love! They needed that kind of attention, because they did not know how to behave if a family would like to adopt them!
Luckily for them a family offered to foster both of them. They offered to take care of the dogs, treat them just like they are supposed to be treated; until they recover from the trauma!
After a couple of weeks with the Foster Family the Husky Puppies are doing very well! They are eating regularly, do not look scared anymore, and love to take long walks with their foster mother!
The puppies are finally healthy, socialize with other people, and fully recovered from Everything they went through! It is amazing how much a little help can affect a dog’s life! Look how beautiful these adorable puppies look now!
Thanks to A Pathway to Hope Daisy has been adopted to her forever home. While Peach is still available for adoption, until they find an appropriate family for her! Never forget to help dogs, they need it more than you think! Everything that you can do for them, is something that might save their life forever!
